Configure the banner
A tour of the Consentful editor — the same on every platform — and what each tab controls.
The Consentful editor looks and works the same in Framer, Webflow, WordPress, Shopify and the dashboard. Changes save as you go; nothing reaches your live site until you Publish (Framer syncs automatically).
| Tab | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Categories | The groups visitors can allow or refuse |
| Behavior | Who sees the banner, opt-in vs opt-out, privacy signals |
| Consent Mode | Google Consent Mode v2 settings |
| Scripts | Trackers that wait for consent |
| Theme | Layout, colors, fonts, wording, languages |
| Insights | Consent rates and A/B tests |
| License | Your key and plan |
| Publish | Put the banner live, plus policy generator and accessibility check |
Use Preview in the header to see the banner on a sample page at any time.
The defaults are GDPR-safe: opt-in consent, Reject all shown next to Accept all, and Google tags denied until the visitor agrees. You can publish without changing anything.
