Any theme, any builder

Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, block themes — Consentful runs from the page head, so there is nothing to place on each page.

Blocks trackers until consent

Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar and other scripts stay off until visitors allow them — not just a banner that asks.

Google Consent Mode v2 built in

Ad and analytics signals are set to denied before Google tags load and updated the moment a visitor chooses. No Tag Manager setup.

Tiny and tidy

About 20 KB gzipped on the front end, no database bloat, and uninstalling removes every setting.

WordPress cookie consent questions

Is Consentful a Complianz or CookieYes alternative for WordPress?

Yes. Consentful focuses on a fast, modern banner with real script blocking and Google Consent Mode v2, and the same license also covers your sites on Framer, Webflow and Shopify, and any other site through the embed snippet.

Does it slow down WordPress?

No. The front-end script is about 20 KB gzipped, ships inside the plugin and loads deferred from your own site.

Does it work with caching plugins?

Yes. After publishing a change, clear your page cache so visitors receive the new banner.

Is the WordPress plugin really free?

Yes. The plugin is free and fully functional, with no account, license key, site limit or time limit, and it never contacts our servers. Every layout and theme, geo-targeting, the preference center, more languages, A/B testing and the policy generator come with the separate Consentful Pro add-on, which needs a paid plan.

One license covers your domain on every platform:
